Axis Wake and Active Water Sports At Seattle Boat Show
Thursday, January 28th, 2010Parks Bonifay Documentary “Best Biography” at X-Dance 2010
Thursday, January 28th, 2010On Tuesday night January 26th The Parks Documentary received the award for “Best Biography” and was nominated for “Best Editing” and “Best Film” at the X-Dance film festival in Salt Lake City. As you should know, X-Dance is an annual film festival for all movies created in and around action and outdoor sports. This accolade from the action sports film community is huge recognition for wakeboarding and particularly for Parks and Alliance Visual Experiences.
Most people involved in the wakeboarding and wakeskating microcosm are aware of how good the Parks Documentary is. Here at Alliance we all believed that the story of Parks Bonifay was bigger than just our community and that it would appeal to a broader market helping to tie us closer to other action sports and help our sports and industry grow. Arguably the Parks Bonifay Documentary will help to introduce the sport to more people through the incredible life story of one of our most charismatic athletes. This award from X-Dance will put the Parks Documentary on the fast track to even more recognition.
A few of the other standout films to show at X-Dance were Project X , Mt Saint Elias, Modern Collective, The Drifter and Signatures. Go to www.x-dance.com for the entire lineup of the 35 films that were accepted (there were over 140 entries) to the festival.

Randall Harris, Eddie Valdez, Melissa Marquardt Axis A22 Video
Monday, January 25th, 2010Company wake’s own Randall Harris and Eddie Valdez join Liquid Force Wakeboards Melissa Marquardt for a tow behind the Axis A22 Wakeboard Boat. Looks like a cold day in SoCal but it doesn’t stop these riders from going huge.
The Axis Wake Research team is not limited to pro athletes or Axis owners. This team is a collection of individuals who would rather be on the end of a wakeboard rope than almost anywhere else in the world. It’s this common motivation that pulled them to the Axis movement. They are part of the team because they no longer see cost effective big wake boating as a list of sacrifices. As Axis Team members these individuals realize wakes, pride, performance and style can intersect in a price-point boat. The membership roster is constantly growing and includes everyone from Axis A22 owners to Axis employees to pro athletes to Axis dealers to industry partners.

Malibu G3 Wakeboard Tower Mirror Arm
Friday, January 15th, 2010Samson Sports are almost done with the design and production of the NEW Wakeboard Tower Mirror arm for the New Malibu G3 Tower. Here are a couple pictures of a 2010 Malibu VLX with the G3 tower. The prototype came out really nice. The Mirror seams to be out of the way of the driver but still gives a wide point of view when spotting the rider. This is a must for any 2010 Malibu Boat owner.

Ryan Potter and I had been heading up to Koppert lake every Wednesday in the fall, and I always brought my camera but never had decent weather. The sun parted for a few hours and I snapped off a few good shots from the tube! enjoy. — Bryan Swarm
