Slingshot Arcane Wakesurf Boards In Stock Now
by activewake on Feb.26, 2010, under Active Water Sports
ActiveWake.com just received a shipment of the highly anticipated Slingshot Arcane Surboards. Get them before they are gone because the next shipment isn’t due in until summer. We offer free shipping anywhere in the US. The Slingshot Arcane Wakesurf Board is a 5′0″ trunk style board designed for shredding behind the boat. Slingshot introduces the WVS construction (Strongest core strength to weight ratio) offering proven durability and performance. The Arcane concave top deck allows for perfect foot placement for better ollies and maximum board control. The single into double concave transitions toward the tail on the base resulting in quick responsiveness and drive down the wake. For a true surf style feel the board has “weight” to deliver solid momentum and drive to pump all day long. Riders will notice, due to the volume of the ARCANE, that to successfully start up they will need to set it on its side. Unlike other high end surfboards the Arcane’s Dura Base is the stongest available. Don’t worry about this board, it can hold its own.

Liquid Force Melissa Vs. “The Rock”
by activewake on Feb.26, 2010, under Active Water Sports
Liquid Force filmer/rider Collin Harrington was behind the video camera again this year at Bro-Stock. His way of capturing the moment is that of a rider and not your standard action sports video producer. In Collin’s words “Nothing can stop Melissa Marquardt. Not even a big red rock in the middle of Lake Powell”. Check out the video.

Malibu Must Have: Titan Combo Fork Upgrade
by activewake on Feb.18, 2010, under Malibu Boats
The Titan Combo Fork’s unique configuration has the capacity for 2 wakeboards or 1 wakeboard and 1 surfboard. The rubber dipped forks protect your investment and increase longevity unlike standard polished forks with the standard rubber insert.
A newer larger fork spacing was requested by Scott Byerly as an OEM upgrade on his Signature Air Nautique and in 2009 the forks became an option for the Malibu Wakesetter boats as well. Finally they are available to the aftermarket. This is the upgrade that should have Malibu Boat Owners jumping for joy. Bolt the Combo Forks onto any existing Titan Low Rider, Titan Cruiser, Titan DLX, Wakeside Battle Rack, or Menace backing plate and you will be off to the races.

Malibu Boats Factory Tour Video
by activewake on Feb.15, 2010, under Malibu Boats
Malibu Boats was the first and only ski boat manufacturer to own and operate multiple manufacturing facilities. East and West Coast facilities enable Malibu to deliver products nationwide with a significant freight advantage to their dealers and customers. The three factories also provide more resources for new products and allow for greater distribution capabilities throughout the world. This means increased sales for Active Water Sports, Western Oregon’s local Malibu dealer.
