So I will admit it. Every year, I plan on getting my holiday gift shopping done early, and every year I find myself scrambling at the last minute, trying to find the perfect gift for somebody on my list. For this reason, I have put together a Holiday Gift Guide for items here at Active Water Sports. I asked some of our staff to give me a list of a few items that they would love to receive, and narrowed them down to a list of items that might be perfect for somebody on your list!

Unfortunately we’re probably not going to have the video available for Evening with the Stars. But, keep an eye out for this long anticipated video to be hitting ActiveWake.com as soon as you can say “Happy Thanksgiving!” See you at the premier.

Axis Wake Research in the USA and Australia are welcoming Dean Smith to their Factory Pro Team because just like Axis wake boats, he is all about charging hard and doing it with style. Smith wanted a boat that would allow him to take his “go big or go home,” attitude into every riding session as well as every competition. It’s this approach that earned the Australian Pro the 2010 WWA Men’s Wakeboard World Championship title. A fun, unassuming guy, Smith has the heart of a lion and conducts himself with true professionalism. Together with his massive tricks and free-riding style, Smith’s character makes him a perfect fit for Axis Wake Research. Smith rides and lives each day to the fullest and that’s how these boats perform; like today is your best day on the water. Axis is proud to call Deano, as he is affectionately known, a member of the family. Read the rest of this entry »
We can’t wait for the release of Defy, The Danny Harf Project. Three years in the making, DEFY follows the pursuits of Danny Harf as he continues to push the progression of wakeboarding. Defy features top riders like Danny Harf, Ben Greenwood, Rusty Malinoski, Shane Bonifay, Parks Bonifay, Shawn Watson, Kevin Henshaw, Dean Smith, Jimmy LaRiche, Chad Sharpe and more. The film is produced by BFY and is sponsored by Monster Energy, Ronix, Nautiques, Fox and TransWorld WAKEBOARDING. With those big names, you know this video is going to be good! DEFY, a Danumentary is supposed to be released early summer 2011.
The Malibu Boats Pro Team got together late last summer to film this short video. Riders Chad Sharpe, Kevin Henshaw, Phillip Soven, and Olivier Derome joined skiers Will Asher, Thomas Degasperi and Drew Ross behind their 2011 Malibu Boats. This video will get your competitive juices flowing with “Bring on the Competition” from R&R in addition to inspired performances by these Malibu boat owners. Check it out!
Meet Bill and Frank. They’re kind of like that side of your conscience that urges you to push the limits just a little further. They’re also the inspiration behind Adam Errington’s pro- model Ronix Collection.
Skate inspiration meets disco style to create a jib friendly, lively ride in the Ronix My Name Is Collection. The Ronix Bill and Frank Collection is for the younger generation, catering to both guys and girls. Inspired by the new perspectives of Adam Errington, the My Name Is Collection is aimed towards the fresh, fun crew of up- and-coming riders. The Ronix Bill Wakeboard features poppy, modern graphics with a little more flex, a hybrid, 3-Stage rocker, and a sintered base for jibbing. The Ronix Frank Boot is an all-around good boot for the all-around wakeboarder. Top off this collection with the Ronix Bill Vest, a pullover style impact vest with loud graphics.
